(Summary description)1. Early stage (5-16 days postpartum) sows have weak postpartum physique and weak digestion. Generally, they can return to normal diet only 5 days postpartum. Therefore, when feeding the postpartum sows, you should give less frequently and gradually increase the feed supply. Generally, feed 3 to 4 times a day, and the feeding amount on the 7th day should meet or slightly higher than the feeding standard in the late pregnancy. If the feed is too small, the piglets will grow slowly; if the feed is too high, the sow’s milk secretion is too strong, which will easily cause the piglets to indigestion and cause the sows to eat food, which will affect the mid-term feeding. For individual sows with small piglets, the feeding standard can be reduced below the general level. If the primiparous sows have poor fat condition, but the appetite is positive

1. Early stage (5-16 days after delivery)
The postpartum sows are weaker and weak in digestion. Generally, they can only resume their normal diet 5 days after delivery. Therefore, when feeding the postpartum sows, you should give less frequently and gradually increase the feed supply. Generally, feed 3 to 4 times a day, and the feeding amount on the 7th day should meet or slightly higher than the feeding standard in the late pregnancy. If the feed is too little, the piglet will grow slowly; if the feed is too high, the sow’s milk secretion will be too strong, which will easily cause the piglet to indigestion and cause the sow to eat food, which will affect the mid-term feeding.
For individual sows with small piglets, the feeding standard can be reduced below the general level. If the primiparous sows are in poor condition but have normal appetites, the feeding amount can be increased appropriately and 0.4 kg more feed daily. The general feeding principle is that the amount of feed in this period must be about 0.5 kg more than that in the late pregnancy.
8 to 13 days postpartum for sows, feed can be prepared according to the lactation ration standard. If you find that the piglets grow slowly or have diarrhea, you can supplement them with some high-protein feeds, such as fish meal, bean cakes, etc.
Feeding must be regular and quantitative, and the feed must be diversified to meet the nutritional requirements of lactating sows. In addition to providing clean drinking water every day, some high-quality juicy green feed must be added.
2, mid-term (14-30 days after delivery)
At this time, the principle of "feeding, eating well, and eating up" should be mastered when raising sows. 15 days after delivery, sows should be fed once a day in the middle of the night to avoid excessive feeding during the day. If the sow has a strong appetite and poor body condition, feed it a few days in advance, on the contrary, postpone the feed as appropriate. Before the piglets start feeding, try to encourage the sows to lactate more so that the piglets can eat more milk. In this way, the piglet's stomach and intestines can develop normally, creating conditions for starting and prospering food.
After the piglets grow to 20 days of age, their activity level gradually increases, and their nutritional requirements also increase. The sow's milk production cannot meet the requirements of the piglets. So it is very important to feed the piglets in time at this time.
3, late stage (30~60 days)
30 days after delivery, sows should stop feeding until weaning. This period is the last link in the sow production process. It is not only related to the one-year farrowing potential of the sow, but also related to the growth and development of the piglet. Care should be taken to maintain fat in sows one month after delivery. In this way, it not only ensures that the sow has a certain condition, prevents the sow from being paralyzed after delivery, but also ensures that the sow is in estrus on time, which is conducive to future production.
